If you grew up on the West Coast then this is a dream come true. Here I am chillin with the Legend Daz Dillinger talking about beats he produced for Tupac and when he dropped his first track on Death Row Records. Then I also get to catch up with Lil Eazy E who I had the pleasure of doing a Episode with tributing his father also debuting music from his own label Rich and Ruthless. The day is already great without even starting the episode but its time to grab the guitar. Off the jump we all decided to do 8 Ball Sippin from The Legacy album from both these killers. Fun Fact we did this joint when I first met Lil E, so go peep that video if you get a chance it starts with his flip of Boyz in the Hood. Now back to the story, We are in the Gangster Chronicles podcast studio about to film Daz Dillinger and Lil Eazy E and the vibe is just right. So we mic up, Lil E gives us a intro and I pop off the guitar riff to 8 Ball Sippin followed up with some signature beat box action. It was obvious from the chorus we were in for a treat. DAZ and E going back and forth on the hook is all kinds of fresh, back ups, verses, man this track is going crazy! After that joint we did a Dogg Pound classic that features Nate Dogg on the original hook. Daz prompts me to hit the hook over a beat he heard me formulating and we go in! I also got a exclusive interview with Daz that is super fresh with him dropping some knowledge on some west coast hip hop history!
