New Single "Drop Bombs" by Ross May

The City of Oceanside has always been known as a Football city, long before the Legendary Junior Seau put the city on the map as an Original Osider throughout his career with the San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots. Throughout time, Oceanside has always set itself apart from the rest by its blending of a hard-charging mindset, dense community support and elite coaching for athletes of all ages, from the youth to professional level, topped with good old fashioned hard work.. Recently Oceanside has partnered with The AF1 and The Frontwave Arena to bring the cities first professional Football team, The Oceanside Bombers. This marks a historical moment for the city, since San Diego as a whole has struggled to keep a team in town after the Chargers controversial move to Los Angeles, San Diego's larger populated northern neighbor. With the incredible facilities at Frontwave mixed with the overflowing talent in the city of Oceanside, the time is right now for professional football to plant its roots in the city and grow toward its potential. This move is going to open the door to so many youth that are looking to make a way for themselves in the sport as well as the community of fans looking to take part in something historic for the city, and its already spreading like wildfire. This is sure to bring amazing opportunities to the city of Oceanside and the community is on fire with support.

As for me, I needed to use my talents to help drive the sled toward the goal of success for not only the players, but the organization and the city as a whole.. We actually need this. The Oceanside Bombers is more than just a professional team in Oceanside, its a chance to show the world that a city largely overlooked by media giants in Hollywood or even the NFL, can overcome the incredible odds, and put on a hell of a show in the process. In Oceanside we are more than just a city by the water, we are a mindset and attitude of perseverance, grit and determination. We are the kind of people who take lessons, not losses, and always get to the finish line by any means. In Oceanside, our children know they are loved and the evidence is in the Families that have rooted here for generations, which include the schools facilty and coaches that support our kids from within the community outside the home. Oceanside has always battled with more than its fair share of gang violence but sometimes even that can be a family issue that works itsself out on the football field.. The city needs football to grow and continue to give our youth the chance to express themselves on the gridiron instead of the street and its for this reason that I was inspired to put together this very special tribute , not just to the team, but the city that raised me and so many others to be men in a world that is in desperate need of real men, now more than ever.. "Drop Bombs" is a direct homage to the Oceanside Bombers, whos logo is an actual plane dropping bombs from the sky, which is an asthetic the songs upholds in a big way.. I put alot of time into it, and made sure that its something that would bang in the headphones for a workout, or the stadium as the energy reaches a fever pitch. if youve made it this far into the blog, then I want to thank you for taking the time to learn a little about the town that raised me and for supporting us as well as my new music which im excited to say, shows no sign of stopping with LOTS more to come...
